Dasher is an extremely timid young kitty who was surrendered to our center along with 3 other cats. She is currently being housed with her sisters Dancer and Vixen. All 4 cats were surrendered around Christmas time when their former guardian stated that she had an overwhelming number of cats in her home. Dasher is not aggressive or feral, she is just scared and overwhelmed with all of the new changes she has been experiencing. Dasher is slowly beginning to come out of her shell and allows our staff and volunteers to pet her and handle her. Dasher would do best in a quiet home and we would love to see her adopted with one of her sisters Dancer or Vixen. Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
