His Story 

Cosmo is a 3-year-old Toy Poodle mix who is looking for a patient and understanding guardian to give him the loving home he deserves. He was rescued from an open-door shelter where he struggled to find interest from adopters, leaving him in a dire situation. While Cosmo is a sweet and affectionate companion, he does have some possessiveness over food, so he needs a home that can manage this with care and consistency. He enjoys his walks, does well crossing paths with other dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home where he can receive undivided attention. Cosmo may have a few challenges, but he is just as deserving of love, stability, and a family who won’t give up on him.

His Sponsorship 

Cosmo will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
