His Story
Cass is an 8-month-old bully mix with a tender heart who was abandoned and surrendered through no fault of his own, and he’s still trying to understand why he lost everything. Despite the heartbreak he’s been through, Cass is incredibly sweet, loving, and eager to connect with people – he just needs someone patient who will help him feel safe again and show him what stability looks like. As a young pup, Cass will thrive in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and basic training, with a guardian who has the time and commitment to help him build confidence and continue learning good manners. A calm, loving home where he won’t be left alone for long stretches would be ideal, and he’d do best with someone who understands he’s not “too much”—he’s just a growing puppy who deserves guidance, routine, and a lifetime of love.
His Sponsorship
Cass will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of Cass’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
