Her Story 

Meet Candy Corn, an adorable young calico kitten with a dash of sass and a heart full of potential. Though she can be a little spicy at times, we believe it’s just her way of expressing her fear and longing for security. With the warmth and comfort of a loving home, Candy Corn will undoubtedly feel more at ease, blossoming into the sweet companion she’s meant to be. While she may always keep a bit of her feisty charm, she is absolutely worth the effort, and any adopter should cherish her unique personality. We dream of seeing Candy Corn join a growing feline family, as we suspect she feels lonely after being abandoned without the comfort of siblings.

Her Sponsorship

Candy Corn will need sponsoring for her daily care at Famous Fido Rescue, which includes her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Candy Corn is litter trained and will also need supplies of clumping litter for her tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
