His Story 

Meet Buddy, a 15-year-old senior gentleman who found himself abandoned after 13 years with his family, who callously declared, “We don’t want him anymore.” Blind and disoriented, Buddy now paces aimlessly in our center, left without a proper goodbye. His family’s indifference is heartbreaking, especially considering their willingness to have him euthanized if we couldn’t take him in. Buddy’s urgent need for a new home is evident, and we are determined to ensure he doesn’t spend the final phase of his life without a loving family. Despite his age and blindness, Buddy is a gentle, pocket-sized soul whose sweet nature shines when nestled in your arms. He craves the security of closeness, seeking attention and affection. Unfortunately, seniors like Buddy often go overlooked in rescue situations. We implore those with big hearts to consider welcoming this senior man into their homes and hearts without delay. His Sponsorship

Buddy will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play.
