Her Story 

Meet Bosco, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old cat who’s looking for a forever home that won’t let her down. Recently adopted from an open door shelter, Bosco was heartbreakingly surrendered just one week later, leaving her confused and in search of stability. Despite all she’s been through, Bosco’s gentle nature and loving personality shine through. She’s great with other cats and craves a home where she can feel truly safe and cherished.

Bosco will need sponsoring for her daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bosco is litter trained and will also need supplies of pine litter for her tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
