Blitzen is a young cat with a big personality. Blitzen was surrendered to our center near Christmas with 3 other female cats from the same home. Blitzen had to be separated from the girls since none of the cats where spayed or neutered. Blitzen has since been neutered and is ready for adoption. Blitzen is a bit nervous since entering the center and it is taking some time to be able to help him come out of his shell. Blitzen enjoys the company of the human volunteers at the rescue and could be adopted out as a single cat or into a home where there are other cats. We would prefer a home with no dogs for Blitzen and probably no small children since Blitzen does tend to become overly stressed by loud noises or fast movements. At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
