Benny

His Story 

Benny’s person said they no longer wanted him after 10 years, because they had asthma. When they left Benny here, they didn’t even say goodbye. It was gut-wrenching to see a dog that had been a part of that home for so long, be given up with what seemed like no emotion at all. Benny deserves someone who loves him and couldn’t bear the be apart from him. He is very quiet and gentle. He would be okay to join a home with other dogs his size, cats, and might even be okay with calm children who can be respectful of his space. 

His Sponsorship 

Benny will need sponsoring for his daily care at the center, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he will need care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
