His Story

Meet August, a 4-year-old Bichon Poo with a heart full of potential, waiting for the right person to help him bloom. He was surrendered when his former family didn’t have time for him, which has left him a bit unsure about trusting people. With patience, love, and slow introductions, August will show his sweet and gentle side. He does well with other small dogs but would thrive best in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and supported as he learns to open his heart again.

His Sponsorship

August will need sponsoring for his food, housing, and medical care at Famous Fido Rescue. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
