His Story 

Meet Andy, a charming 4-year-old Shih Tzu and Poodle mix, brimming with sweetness and affection. Andy finds himself in search of a new loving home due to unfortunate circumstances—he was surrendered by his previous family who said they no longer had the time to dedicate to him. Despite this, Andy has retained his delightful disposition, radiating warmth and friendliness. With his fluffy coat and endearing eyes, Andy is not just a delightful companion; he is a testament to resilience and love, ready to bring joy to a caring household that can provide him the time, attention, and affection he craves. Adopting Andy means embracing a furry friend whose loyalty and sweetness are boundless—a four-legged family member ready to fill your days with love and laughter. Andy does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home with a family that can give him a lot of time. He’d be okay with a small canine companion.

His Sponsorship 

Andy will need sponsorship for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care at the rescue. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
