His Story 

Anchor is an 8-year-old Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of loyalty and love. He lived a peaceful, happy life with his guardian and his best friend, Fluffy the cat, until their world was turned upside down by their guardian’s sudden passing. Anchor is sweet, gentle, and incredibly bonded to Fluffy – they’ve been each other’s source of comfort through the grief and change. He’s well-mannered, calm, and would make a devoted companion in a quiet, loving home. Anchor is hoping for a second chance at family – one that will welcome both him and Fluffy, together, forever.

His Sponsorship 

Anchor will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
