Her Story

Emerald is so precious, much like the gem she was named after. Her beautiful green eyes, and sweet grin will win you over! She has a lot of pain behind those gorgeous eyes though. Her guardian died and she was left in the apartment for two weeks before she was found. All that time, she was very afraid, not knowing if she was ever going to be fed again. Despite her pain, Emerald is doing okay. She is a very brave girl. We would love to find Emerald someone to give her a safe home. She should not always have to be so strong. She needs to feel comfortable just to relax. If you have a calm home, we know she would likely love it there. 

Her Sponsorship

Emerald will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Emerald is litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for her tray.
