His Story

Canelo is a sweet, resilient two-year-old boy who deserves the loving life he has never known. After spending his life in a neglectful squatting situation, he was left tied to a fence overnight when his owner went to jail. He came to us underweight and suffering from fleas and dermatitis, yet through it all, Canelo remains a very good, gentle dog who gets along well with other dogs. He is currently receiving care while staying in boarding because our rescue had no available space. Canelo has spent long enough merely surviving and now he needs a family who will cherish him, help him heal, and show him that home can mean safety, comfort, and unconditional love.
