His Story

Rex is a gentle 12-year-old boy searching for someone with a special place in their heart for a senior, special-needs dog. After arriving at Famous Fido with a severely neglected and gangrenous front paw, Rex underwent an amputation and is now beginning life on three legs. He has endured more pain than any animal should, yet his sweet spirit remains. Rex will need a patient, compassionate home willing to support his recovery, rehabilitation, and changing mobility needs as he adjusts. Three legs do not make Rex any less deserving or capable of enjoying love, comfort, and happiness; they simply mean he needs someone extraordinary to walk beside him.
