Her Story
Alexis came to our center when her guardian had passed away and there was no family who would care for her. Her guardian had battled cancer for a long time. We do believe she was very loved by her person. She is very friendly with all the team. Some of Alexis’s care looks like it took a backseat, however. She is very malnourished and underweight. She also has a mammary tumor that will need care. It would be great for Alexis to find a special home to give her dedicated time in her senior years. She loves cuddles, so this will be a must! 

Her Sponsorship
Alexis will need sponsoring for her food, housing, and medical care. Alexis has a mammary tumor that will need surgery and as a senior she will need specialized wellness checks. Enrichment is also a very important part of Alexis’s rescue journey, and she would be so appreciative to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
