His Story
Boathouse is a one-year-old male cat with a gentle spirit who is learning, day by day, that not all hands bring harm, and not all moments end in fear. After surviving an unimaginable act of cruelty, he has shown a quiet resilience and a softness that speaks to who he truly is beneath it all – a sweet, deserving boy who simply wants to feel safe. He was rescued after being thrown out of a car. As he continues to recover and regain his strength, Boathouse is looking for a patient and compassionate home where he can settle in at his own pace, build trust, and finally experience the consistency and care he has been denied. With time, kindness, and understanding, he will blossom into a deeply loving companion.
His Sponsorship
Boathouse will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Boathouse is litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for his tray.
