His Story
Oatmeal is a 3-year-old yorkie mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, ready to find a patient and understanding guardian to call his own. This sweet little boy may only have one eye, but it doesn’t slow his ability to form deep bonds and enjoy the quiet comforts of companionship. He is friendly with people of all ages, does well with other dogs his size, and thrives in a calm environment where he can build trust at his own pace. Oatmeal can be a little timid at first, but with kindness, reassurance, and consistency, he blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion who simply wants to feel safe, cherished, and finally home.
His Sponsorship
Oatmeal will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
