His Story
Monkey is a sweet, 1-year-old male shihtzu who came to us from a situation where there were too many dogs and not enough care, and he’s now ready for the chance to experience what a loving home truly feels like. He’s gentle, friendly, and does well with other dogs, finding comfort in their company, but he’s also eager to form a close bond with a person who will be patient, kind, and devoted to him. Monkey is still young and has so much love to give, and he just needs a family who will offer him stability, tender loving care, and the lifelong commitment he has always deserved.
His Sponsorship
Monkey will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
