His Story 

Shep is a sweet, gentle male shihpoo who came to us from an overcrowded home where there were simply too many dogs and not enough individual care, and he’s now longing for a fresh start with a family who will show him what it truly means to be loved. He does wonderfully with other dogs and finds comfort in canine companionship, but what he needs most is tender loving care, patience, and a soft place to land while he learns that he is safe and cherished. Shep is the kind of little soul who will blossom beautifully in a calm, nurturing home where kindness is given freely and forever. He’s ready to give his whole heart to someone who chooses him.

His Sponsorship 

Shep will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
