Her Story

Buffy is a 4-year-old shihtzu with a gentle soul who is ready for a fresh start after coming from a situation where her former guardian, due to dementia, was no longer able to care for her properly; despite the neglect she experienced, Buffy remains incredibly sweet, loving, and eager to connect with people who will make her feel safe, cherished, and truly adored, and she would thrive in a calm, compassionate home where she can be spoiled the way she always deserved, does well with other small dogs, and is so hopeful that her next chapter will be filled with consistency, kindness, and unconditional love – Buffy is ready to give her whole heart to someone special.

Her Sponsorship 

Buffy will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
