Her Story

Abby is a 10-month-old shihtzu mix who came into our care from a heartbreaking situation where there were far too many dogs and not enough resources, and she has clearly known neglect in her young life. Despite a difficult start, Abby is a sweet, gentle girl with a tender heart and so much potential waiting to shine. Now safe at the rescue, she is getting the chance to experience consistency, care, and kindness, and with a patient, loving family by her side, Abby is ready to blossom into a wonderful companion who will finally know what it means to be truly loved.

Her Sponsorship 

Abby will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
