His Story 

Bolt is a 3-year-old male shihpoo who came into our care from a heartbreaking situation where there were far too many dogs and not enough resources, and it’s clear he has been deprived of the proper care and attention every dog deserves. Despite a rough start and knowing neglect, Bolt has a gentle, sweet nature and a quiet resilience that speaks volumes about the loving companion he has the potential to become. Now safe at the rescue, Bolt is finally getting the chance to experience kindness, routine, and stability, and with a patient, committed family by his side, he is ready to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will cherish the chance to be truly loved.

His Sponsorship 

Bolt will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
