Breed: Shihtzu
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Female

Her Story

Lexi is a tenderhearted little shihtzu who has been through more than any small dog should, and she’s now looking for the kind of guardian who will cherish her every single day. At just two-years-old, she arrived at our center with matted fur covering her eyes and a tight, painful bow tangled in her coat – signs that her care had slowly slipped away over time. Despite everything, Lexi remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and hopeful, leaning into affection the moment she feels safe. She would thrive in a calm, loving home where she’ll be brushed, nurtured, and treated like family for life.

Her Sponsorship

Lexi will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
