Blackie is a 9-year-old yorkie x dachshund with the kindest soul and the sweetest little face. He was heartbreakingly surrendered when his guardian no longer wanted him, and he’s been feeling very sad and confused ever since. Despite what he’s been through, Blackie’s gentle nature still shines through and he’s friendly with everyone he meets and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He’s looking for someone who will finally make him feel secure, loved, and wanted again. This loyal little guy deserves to spend his golden years in a home filled with kindness and care.

His Sponsorship 

Blackie will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his daily care at the rescue, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play.
