Her Story 

Tootsie is a 3-year-old, 8lb shihtzu with a heart as tender as her tiny frame. She was surrendered to us when her family said they no longer had time for her, leaving her confused and heartbroken. Despite it all, Tootsie remains incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, and her gentle nature makes her the perfect little companion. This loving girl deserves a forever home where she’ll be cherished, never left behind again, and finally get the devotion she’s been longing for.

Her Sponsorship 

Tootsie will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great!
