Her Story
Dorothy is a tiny Chihuahua with a resilient spirit, rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where she endured years of neglect. Despite the cataracts clouding both her eyes and the patches of fur missing from lack of proper care, Dorothy radiates gentleness and hope. She craves the warmth of a safe lap, a steady hand, and a loving guardian who will finally show her the kindness she’s always deserved. Dorothy’s journey hasn’t been easy, but with patience and compassion, she is ready to discover what it means to truly belong.
Her Sponsorship
Dorothy will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
