Her Story 

Oreo is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu x Maltese whose journey is nothing short of miraculous. She was surrendered to our care while pregnant, but tragically, her puppies had already passed away inside her, and because her former guardian never sought medical attention, Oreo was on the brink of sepsis. We rushed her to the vet and, thankfully, she was saved. Despite all she has endured, Oreo is a gentle, sweet soul who longs for a safe and loving home. She would do best in an adult-only household, as she can be a bit sensitive to loud noises and busy hands, but with calm patience and love, Oreo is sure to blossom into the devoted companion she was always meant to be.

Her Sponsorship 

Oreo will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
