Their Story
Jake and Rita are as gorgeous on the outside as they are on the inside, but this sweet pair are so sad as they grieve the loss of their human who passed away recently. They had no friends or family who wanted to take them on. Jake and Rita are full of life. They are very playful, and are especially intrigued by toys that squeak! As hair dogs, Jake and Rita will need regular grooming to keep their coat healthy. They get along with dogs their size, but their energy might be a little much for some families with young children.

Jake and Rita will need sponsoring for their daily needs at the center, including for their food, housing, and medical care. They will also need a dental check. Enrichment is very important to Jake and Rita’s rescue journey, and care packages with toys and treats for comfort and play are especially appreciated. Bully sticks are their favorite!
