Jazzy

Her Story

Jazzy came to Famous Fido Rescue when she had a health issue called pyometra, which is a condition that affects dogs that have not been spayed. She needed immediate care, and without it, she likely would have developed septic poisoning and likely have died. Jazzy then joined our intervention program, where we offered to help her guardian with Jazzy’s medical care, but after the surgery, her person decided that she did not want Jazzy back. She is now safe and as healthy as she can be, and waiting for her forever home at Famous Fido Rescue. Since Jazzy has been here, we have seen what an absolutely sweet dog she is. She loves cuddles and treats (although she would benefit greatly from a healthy diet) and is really well potty-trained to go outside. She even behaved really well for our groomer. Ideally, we would like to get Jazzy into a calm home, where she can be loved and spoiled for the rest of her golden years. She will need someone who will take things at her pace, and give her all the time she needs to settle in. 

Her Sponsorship

Jazzy will need sponsoring for her daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including help for her food, housing, and medical care. She will also need care packages, with toys and treats for comfort and enrichment. Bully sticks are also needed to help stay on top of her dental hygiene as well. As a senior dog, Jazzy will need ongoing senior wellness checks at the vet to monitor and care for her age-specific needs.
