Her Story

Uki had lived with her one guardian her whole life, until he suffered a heart attack that lead to ongoing issues, keeping him in hospital for over a month. In that time Uki was left in an apartment, with someone dropping by each day to feed her. Going without her person for so long has definitely lead to her feeling bouts of sadness and anxiety, and we know she will likely grieve for some time. She will need someone who is patient, calm and caring to help her feel at home again. She tends to seize up around larger dogs, but smaller, less active cats or dogs might be okay for her to share a home with. She loves people, and desperately craves attention and love. 

Her Sponsorship

Uki will need sponsoring for her sponsoring for her daily needs, including her food, housing and medical care. She will also need care packages with toys and treats for comfort. As a senior dog, Uki does have a few ailments that require specific sponsoring for. She has two noticeably decayed teeth that will require a dental surgery, and she will also need a skin assessment and treatment for an allergic reaction she experienced from fleas in her prior home. She does need a senior wellness check as well, to determine if there are any other ailments that need care as well.
