Maple & Syrup (bonded pair)

Breed: DSH
Age: 6 months
Sex: Both female

Their Story

Meet Maple and Syrup, two adorable female kittens looking for their forever home! These sweet sisters were surrendered to our rescue when their former family could no longer care for them. Maple, with her soft grey coat, and Syrup, dressed in sleek black, are an inseparable duo who love nothing more than cuddling up together. Their bond is heartwarming, and we hope to find them a home where they can stay side by side, bringing double the joy and love.

Their Sponsorship

Maple and Syrup will need sponsoring for their daily needs at the rescue, including for their food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of their rescue journey, and they would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Maple and Syrup are litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for their tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
