His Story 

Meet CJ, a sweet Maltese mix who was surrendered to our rescue after his former family said they had no time for him. Poor CJ was completely matted from head to toe and carried a sadness that broke our hearts, but his first groom brought him immense relief and a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Now, he’s ready for the next chapter of his life – one filled with love and care. CJ would thrive best in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and adored. He’s okay with other small dogs and is eager to finally experience the warmth of a true forever family.

His Sponsorship 

CJ will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
