Her Story 

Meet Gabby, a gentle and affectionate feline who was unfortunately abandoned in our lobby when her previous family hurriedly left. Gabby is a larger cat with a laid-back and lazy disposition, perfect for someone seeking a calm and cuddly companion. She dreams of finding a cozy home where she can bask in the warmth of love and feel truly special. With her serene presence and loving nature, Gabby is ready to bring a sense of tranquility and companionship to her forever family.

Her Sponsorship 

Gabby will need sponsoring for her daily care at Famous Fido Rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also very important, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Gabby is litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for her tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
