Her Story 

Bambu came to Famous Fido Rescue in Chicago all the way from Florida! Her former guardian was giving her away in the parking lot of another shelter after they turned her down for intake. According to her former guardian, they said she was too old for their program, and that they could offer her euthanasia. Bambi’s human was facing homelessness and was desperate to get her somewhere safe. Thankfully a team member of ours happened to be there at the time and brought her back to us. She is nothing but a sweet angel who just wants to be loved. Bambi is good with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages, including children. She would love to have a family to call her own. 

Her Sponsorship 

Bambi will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
