His Story 

When Diego’s human died, no one noticed he had been left outside in the cold. It wasn’t until 10 days later, that Deigo’s rescue began. This boy had no access to food or shelter outside. It’s devastating that he had to go through this in the midst of his grief – but now, you can turn things around for him! Diego is a very friendly boy, and is good with other dogs. He would enjoy an active lifestyle with daily walks. He loves his hind scratched, and he loves to dish out licks. He can get pretty playful, so he would be best suited to households where children are older than 10. 

His Sponsorship 

Diego will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
