Nala is a wonderful 1.5 year old kitty who was abandoned in our dumpster with her litter of 5 kittens earlier last summer. Nala and all of her babies were incredibly sick upon entering the center and took a lot of effort and care to get back into good health for adoption. Since being at the center the majority of Nala’s litter has been adopted. Nala is awaiting her forever home along with her daughter Nadia. Nala enjoys the company of other cats and people. Nala would do best in a home without large dogs. She is on the shy side when first meeting, but will allow pets an affection in a quiet setting. At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
