Parker

Breed: Pocket Bully Breed Mix
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Male
Size: 40lbs
Color: White/Tan

Parker is a 2 year old old Pocket Bully Breed Mix. Not much is known about Parker’s history as he was abandoned on the side of our building when his former guardian had abruptly walked into our center wanting to surrender him due to a no-pet policy in his building. When we had requested that the former guardian hold onto Parker until we had a kennel available, he walked out of our building, tied parker to the gas meter and drove off. Parker is a young dog who will require an experienced adopter who is familiar with the level of training and exercise his breed requires. Being a Pocket Bully Mix Parker is quite stocky and muscular. Parker will need someone who is willing to be patient with training and acclimating him to a daily routine. Parker enjoys walks and playing with human companions. Parker would do best in a home with no other pets as he has shown prey drive toward smaller animals. Parker may do well with larger dogs, depending on the situation. Otherwise, Parker loves attention from people and is a absolute cuddle bug. If you are interested in meeting Parker please submit an application on the link below.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
