Polly is a very friendly 2-3 year old Shihtzu/Maltese Mix. Polly was surrendered to our center after having spent a short time with her previous guardians. Polly’s previous guardians had stated that they received Polly from a 3rd party rehoming and soon decided that their schedules were not compatible with having a dog. By no fault of her own, Polly found herself being surrendered to our center. After so many trade offs in such a short time, it is safe to say that Polly is a bit nervous and confused. However, Polly’s personality is definitely beginning to blossom. Not much is known about Polly’s past. Polly has shown some nervous behavior around other dogs so she may be best suited in a home as the only dog or with another smaller, quiet companion dog. Polly has never lived with children and it is unknown how she is with cats. Polly would be best suited in an adult only home or a home with older children.
