His Story

Doug, a patient and resilient soul, has been patiently awaiting rescue for an extended period, having endured the challenges of life by his mom Sue’s side – but she recently passed away. Now, Doug finds himself navigating the world alone, yearning for the warmth of a family and the comforting presence of a canine companion to mend his grief-stricken heart. Originally plucked from an overcrowded open-door shelter, Doug narrowly escaped an unfortunate fate thanks to Famous Fido Rescue. Despite his playful nature, Doug sometimes grapples with anxiety, and he dreams of a home where he can find solace in a fenced backyard, where he can romp around. In the face of his challenging past, Doug’s resilient spirit and playful demeanor make him a worthy candidate for a loving and understanding forever home.

His Sponsorship

Doug will need sponsoring for his daily needs, including his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also very important to his time here and he would love care packages with toys and treats for play. Doug is somewhat pad trained and will need puppy pads as well.
