His Story 

Carter is only a puppy! He spent 6 months with his people before they decided to move and not take him with them. He didn’t even know what was happening when they brought him in. He was all smiles and waggy tails. Before surrendering him, his family bathed him in laundry detergent, which left his skin raw and dry. Carter was very uncomfortable. But he is on the path to better days. Hopefully, because he will find a home soon that will love and adore him for his whole life like he deserves. He still needs training, but he is a smart boy and is eager to please. Carter would love to join a family with another small and playful dog for companionship. 

His Sponsorship 

Carter will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys or treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
