Working Together for KooKoo & Teekaboo

We approach each case on an individual basis and take the time to consider all possibilities before reaching a solution. Often, it takes more than just one solution, as we are usually working through a variety of challenges.

Our GUARD program was developed to address the core behavioral and medical issues that might lead to an individual seeing that they have no solution but to surrender an animal. There are also many personal reasons, that we work with as well. Our counseling helps to resolve and reach a path of best success for the animal’s well-being.

Kookoo and Teekaboo are two dogs that are currently part of Famous Fido’s intervention program. They are currently being housed at the facility while their guardian looks to find a home where they can both stay. Falling on hard times, their guardian found herself homeless, but still wanting to do the best for her companions. Recently, finding employment, their guardian is now looking for a home, but is here everyday to give her fur babies some love and care in the meantime. By helping with this case, Famous Fido has been able to keep two beautiful dogs from having to enter the shelter system, which would have caused their guardian a great deal of heartbreak, and the dogs from experiencing the trauma of being abandoned.
