Doug is a 4-month-old Boxer mix puppy with an unforgettable spirit and so much love to give. Due to an irreparable lumbar spinal fracture, Doug will never have the use of his back legs and will need a specially fitted mobility cart, hands-on physical assistance, and ongoing care. Despite everything he has endured, he remains affectionate, curious, and full of hope – lifting his head to greet people, wagging his tail with joy, and soaking up every gentle touch. Doug needs an extraordinary, patient adopter who will nurture him, help him explore the world, and make a lifelong commitment to ensuring he always feels safe, included, and treasured.
