1. I hereby understand and agree that Famous Fido Rescue makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, about the cat's health and/or temperament. Famous Fido Rescue is hereby absolved from any liability for future damages or injuries caused by said cat to property, person, or other pets and shall not be held liable for any expenses, including medical, which may be incurred after the animal goes home. 2. I agree to hold the cat in the highest regard as a member of my family, to provide the cat with proper care, wholesome food, water, shelter, medical attention, socialization, love, and affection. 3. I understand that all Famous Fido Rescue cats are neutered/spayed prior to a finalized adoption. 4. I will not at any time give up my adopted cat to ant organization or individual other then Famous Fido Rescue without prior written approval from Famous Fido Rescue. If at any time and for any reason, I cannot keep my adopted cat, I will contact Famous Fido Rescue, If I return the cat, I will be responsible for providing transportation back to an approved Famous Fido foster home. Any animal adopted from Famous Fido Rescue may be returned at any time, for reason. 5. I agree to provide veterinary medical care such as vaccines, medical exams, heart-worm prevention, flea and tick prevention, blood test, etc. for the life of the cat. I also agree to provide professional veterinary care to alleviate suffering or illness on the part of my adopted cat. I will take my cat to a vet for a check-up within 14 days of taking him/her home. 6. I agree to return follow-up calls/emails about my adopted Famous Fido Rescue cat. If I do not, then I agree to allow Famous Fido Rescue to inspect my home, the adopted cat, and the adopted cat's living quarters at any time. I understand that if Famous Fido Rescue finds this contract is being violated or that the cat is not being cared for properly, Famous Fido Rescue has the right to reclaim the cat and the adopter will surrender the cat on demand and make no further claims against Famous Fido Rescue. This shall not be considered a trespass and no money shall be returned. 7. I understand that I am adopting this cat as a permanent member of my household and the cat shall reside in my home. The cat will not be kept outdoors, in a cat-house, on an outdoor porch, or on a chain. 8. I understand the risk of cat theft and will not leave my cat unattended unless within the confines of my home. Thieves can easily watch a house, learn a family's routine, so that they know when the cat is left in the backyard unsupervised. I agree to contact Famous Fido Rescue immediately in the event of the loss or theft of my adopted cat . I also agree to initiate a search for my lost or stolen adopted cat. I will keep the adopted cat within the safe confines of my home unless on a hand-held leash, in a carrier, or other securely enclosed area with visible human supervision. 9. I will not physically alter my adopted cat through elective surgery such as tail docking, ear cropping, declawing. 10. If I rent or live in a condo I have checked with my building management or condo association regarding pet restrictions and I am allowed to have a cat or dog of the breed, size, and number I am adopting. I also understand that Famous Fido Rescue has the right to contact my building management to confirm I am allowed the cat I am adopting. 11. The information I have provide Famous Fido Rescue is truthful and accurate. 12. Should it become necessary for Famous Fido Rescue to take action to recover an adopted cat, or otherwise enforce the provisions of this adoption agreement, the undersigned adopter agrees to pay all cost, fees, and expenses, including attorney's fees, incurred by Famous Fido Rescue. BY SIGNING BELOW, I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND AGREE TO ALL THE COVENANTS, AND TERMS, AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED ON THIS FORM.:
