Blackie is a young cat we rescued so she would not end up in an open-door shelter, and now she is fighting for her life against FIP. She has stopped eating and drinking on her own and is currently receiving urgent veterinary care as we do everything possible to save her. Blackie came to us alongside another young cat named Sylvie, who heartbreakingly passed away from the same diagnosis. Losing Sylvie devastated us, and we are determined to give Blackie every chance we can. Her care is intensive and costly, but she deserves the opportunity to survive and know love and safety.
